22.02.2010 :Gujarat Circle NUBSNLW (FNTO) Working Committee.

The Circle Working Committee Meeting of the NUBSNLW (FNTO) was held on 21.02.2010 at 11.00 hours in FNTO Office. Shri M.K. Rawal, Circle President presided over the meeting.

The meeting commenced with honoring S/Shri D.D. Mistry & V.N. Rathod for their election as AGS & V.P. at Patna Conference.

The issue of Wage Revision was discussed. Shri D.D. Mistry spoke on the latest position of the issue and said that for its early implementation the programme of action as announced by BWA on 5th March, 2010 has to be fully followed.

All the District Secretaries gave details of the membership position in the district and spoke on the irritating issues of the district.

There was increase in the membership in Kheda, Bhuj and Godhra districts for which the respective district secretaries were congratulated.

A suitable resolution for ensuing membership verification at par with last all India Conference was also adopted unanimously.

Shri .V.N. Rathod invited the next Circle Conference in Khada district which will be held on working day at Anand/Nadiad latest by end of April, 2010.

Shri S.R. Padhiar and M.K. Rawal spoke and enlightened on the activities undertaken by the circle to redress the grievances of the members.

A committee consisting of S/Shri M.K. Rawal, S.R. Padhiar, D.D. Mistry, A. P. Pandya & V.N. Rathod of was formed to address the CGMT Ahmedabad to follow the BSNL Transfer policy without any partiality or favour towards recognized union.

3rd A.I.C. Patna (Bihar) 08.11.2009 to 10.11.2009

Shri V.N. Rathod, D.S. Anand was elected as All India Vice President and Shri D.D. Mistry, GS BDPA as AGS FNTO for ensuing term.

From Gujarat, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Nadiad, Vadodara,Surat, Valsad and Palanpur delegates participated in the 3rd AIC at Patna from 8.11.09 to 10.11.2009. S/Shri D.D. Mistry, J.B. Kumpavat, R.C. Dave, N.G. Parmar, R.J. Jaiswal, D.M. Solanki and others represented Ahmedabad Telecom District. S/Shri M.K. Rawal and Ashok Joshi represented Rajkot. Shri A.P. Pandya, Macwan and others represented Vadodara. Shri H.M. Dumasia lead Surat,followed with N.J. Tandel leading Valsad accolmpanied with Panchal and others. Mandavia, Jadeja and others from Jamnagar and delegate from Palanpur also participated. Shri V.N. Rathod and other 20 attended from Anand District.

04.10.2009: Mr. Thomas John K, President FNTO, Mr. K. Vallinayagam, GS FNTO, Mr. Pande, President NFTE and Mr. N.T. Sajwanii, SG NFTE meet the Director HRD BSNL to-day   (05.10.09) and requested him to settle the Wage Revision at the earliest as the Workers are frustrated over the inordinate delay. They also suggested that the Management may call all the Unions to sort out the issue. Regarding Promotional Policy, the Director HRD assured that the orders will be released within a month on getting due approval from DoT.

Mr. Thomas John K, All India President addressed Open Session of 3rd Ahmedabad District Conference to-day at 12.00 hours at Mehdi Nawaj Jung Hall, Paldi, Ahmedabad.Speaking on the issue of Wage Revision, he said that if the issue is not settled by December '09 end, FNTO willl move in this direction to expedite the same. He criticised that the syllabus of Phone Mechanic Examination was so hard that those who are in live touch with the technology can write; else even the Engineering graduate can not do well. That being the reason, the result was Zero in Gujarat Circle. He also categorically exemplified that how ridiculous scheme of OTBP is for TTA where the gain is sometimes than regular increment. That being the reason, a case has been filed in the court of law to get the justice for TTA and he is hopeful of getting justice soon. The scheme of EDP for Sr. TOA was made flop show by the Representative Union he added.. On 50% IDA Merger issue for pre-01.01.2009 Pensioners, he said that he will take due care of the issue to ensure that it is properly represented with emphasize with the authorities.

Shri S.K. Bhandari, PGM ATD inauguarated the Conference. Mr. Deep Babaria GS Indian National Congress, Gujarat also spoke on the occasion. Mr. D.D. Mistry, AGS also spoke over the irrirating issues of workers and BSNL Pensioners. Other speakers include S/Shri S.R. Padhiar, M.K. Rawal, R.J. Jaiswal & J.B. Kumpavat.Shri A.M. Parmar PM and R.J. Jaiswal SDO were elected as District Secretary & District President. The District Secretaries of nearby Districts also attended the Open Session.

The D.W.C. Meeting of Ahmedabad Telecom District,Ahmedabad was held on 25.11.09 at FNTO Office. S/Shri M.K.Raval, S.R. Padhiar & D.D. Mistry, Circle Office bearers attended. The election stratgy for ensuing Membership Verification discussed. It was decided to defer holding of District Conference till completion of election process.

The C.W.C. of Circle will be held on29.11.08 at 19.00 hours in Railwaypura HO and Jt.C.W.C. of FNTO-NFET will met on 30.11.08 at 11.00 hours.
