FNTO REPLY TO MANAGEMENT ON OUR NOTICE
FOR DEMONSTRATION.

Sir,
Sub:
Notice for demonstration on 30th March,
2009.
Ref:
Your No: BSNL.7-4/SR/2009 Date 27.03.2009.
Please
refer your above letter. Tone and
tanner of the appeal made to us in
endorsement of the above letter is
in the form of a threat, we regret
to observe.
Any
registered union in this country whether
recognized or not is empowered lawfully
to voice its demands through peaceful
means during out of office hours such
as lunch break etc., and no management
which has a sense of proportion or
justice will consider imposing the
clause of ”No work No pay”
for such an agitation. Members of
union can also launch Dharna,/Fast
etc. availing their own leave without
stoppage of work, we hope the management
is aware of.
Dealing
with recognize minority union (only)
is the convenience and prerogative
of the management but if the corporate
administration is fond of using its
own draconian rules to still the voice
of the common on executive employees
after paying hefty arrears of wage
revision to higher echelons of the
hierarchy leaving the empty coffers
to be shown to workers, unions will
be forced to embark upon indefinite
strike still the issue is settled.
We hope management will not drive
us to resort to that extreme.
With
regards,
Yours Sincerely,
K.
